- For
bracelets or anklets, measure your wrist or ankle using a cloth
tape measure. If you do not have a cloth tape measure, you can
use a string and then measure the string with a ruler, metal tape
measure or whatever is available. When you measure, the tape or
string should just meet without pulling tight. To this
measurement, add about 1/2 inch, and enter the amount to the
nearest 1/8 inch under the size box in the order form. This will
allow for the volume area of beads and a comfortable fitting.
Because of differences in bead sizes and patterns, we may not be
able to make the jewelry to come out to exactly your size, but we
can usually get it to within about 1/8 inch.
- For
necklaces the size isn't as critical as with an anklet or
bracelet, it's more a matter of cosmetics. So just order a size
that you are comfortable with. If you already have a necklace
that you like the size of, just measure it and indicate what size
you want on the order form. If you don't currently own a
necklace, just measure your neck with a cloth tape measure or
string as above, and add 2 to 3 inches, or for more of a choker
look, just add 1 inch. Indicate the size that you want on the
order form.
- Please
note that in addition to the regular price for a bracelet,
anklet, or necklace, we also charge a premium of $1.00 per inch
for bracelets over 9 inches, anklets over 14 inches, or necklaces
over 22 inches.
